What is a Core Leader?

Community. Service.

These are the core of the Habitat for Humanity mission, and that’s the kind of people we are inviting to become Core Leaders. Our Core Leaders help lead volunteers at our build sites. They partner with Habitat staff to make sure that our construction sites are safe and enjoyable experiences for our volunteers.

We are looking for people who are ready to:

Learn - Learn how to dry in a home, things like framing, siding, and roof decking.
Work - Commit to leading volunteers in at least one build per year.
Grow - Invite, welcome, and train volunteers, with the goal of finding more Core Leaders.
