The Vibe
Transport yourself back in time to the electrifying era of the 1980s at the 2nd annual Habitat for Humanity Homecoming Gala: “Pretty in Pink”! Get ready to don your puffiest sleeves, tease your hair to new heights, and dance the night away to the iconic tunes that defined generations. Our event promises to be a nostalgic blast from the past that will have you grooving like it’s 1986.
From the moment you step into the venue, you’ll feel like you’ve stepped into a John Hughes film. Whether you’re dedicating a song to that person you “like like”, showing off your best moonwalk, bidding on sweets at the bake sale, or sipping on the spiked punch, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. This Homecoming dance will not only be a night to remember, but an opportunity to support Habitat for Humanity in the most fun-filled way imaginable. So dust off your ruffles, bust out that Aquanet, and join us for an evening of retro revelry as we bring people together to build homes, communities, and hope!
What this does for our mission
“I am able to give my kids a chance to grow up in a stable home – a real home – with love, our family, a yard for my boys, and a place for the dog. With Habitat, I am able to give my kids what I had growing up.” – Misti
“The opportunity to receive a home from Habitat for Humanity has been a life-changing event…Habitat has allowed me to be involved in an organization that makes me excited about being able to help others while helping myself.” - Angela

“If a family only ever lives in a rental property, they're never able to build generational wealth. But whenever they buy their own home, now they're actually starting to build their economic future. They can get out of the cycle of poverty.”
