Habitat for Humanity’s vision (“a world where everyone has a decent place to live”) is broader than homeownership. It includes eliminating all poverty housing, including inadequate short-term housing. That’s why we partnered with Houses for Healing to help build the sixteen-unit expansion of their tiny house village. Their mission is to “care for the sick by providing free temporary housing to those who are receiving medical care away from home in Abilene, TX.”
